The Words of Wisdom Award
One of the reasons the IRMI Construction Risk Conference has
become such a major event for construction risk management, insurance,
legal, and surety professionals is the quality of the educational
sessions. Each year, we have 50 or more speakers on the program,
most of whom do a great job. However, some go the extra mile to
do a stellar job.
These outstanding speakers are characterized by thorough preparation,
detailed and useful handouts, effective use of visual aids, and
enthusiastic delivery. More importantly, they share practical ideas,
tips, and techniques that attendees can take back to their jobs
and use.
To recognize the substantial contributions these experts have
made to the construction and insurance industries, we started a
hall of fame in 1992. The inductees receive our Words of Wisdom
Award. To date, 22 outstanding speakers have been honored with this
award. Since there have been about 1,000 speakers at the
previous IRMI Construction Risk Conferences, they are a truly
elite group.
2011 Words of Wisdom Award Winner
David B. Dolnick was honored with
the Words of Wisdom Award at the 31st IRMI Construction Risk Conference
in San Diego. The award recognizes his skill and generosity
in sharing his expertise in many facets of construction risk
management.
