Peter Arkley
Senior Managing Director, Executive Vice President
As senior managing director and executive vice president for Alliant Construction Services Group, Mr. Arkley is directly responsible for insurance and surety operations, including owner controlled and contractor controlled programs, environmental, professional, Subguard, and contract and commercial bonds. Mr. Arkley is also responsible for the development and implementation of the construction business and financial strategy.
Prior to joining Alliant, Mr. Arkley served as chief executive officer of the construction operations at Aon, and in 1998 he created the Construction Program Group, an insurance underwriting facility dedicated to the construction marketplace. Mr. Arkley has also held senior executive positions with Marsh & McLennan and Johnson & Higgins. He began his career in 1977 with American International Group. He has served as a director of Tutor Perini Corporation since 2000 and has served on the boards of Valley Crest Companies and the Greater Los Angeles Zoo Association.
