John D'Alusio, ARM, SCLA


Mr. D'Alusio is the author of "The Additional Workers Compensation Claim Costs Imposed by the Medicare Secondary Payer Law and Medicare, Medicaid, and SCHIP Extension Act." He has over 40 years of insurance industry experience in executive management positions in administration, field operations, and claim technical areas. Mr. D'Alusio began his career in insurance with Liberty Mutual Insurance Company. From there, his career took him through a progression of management positions in the claims departments of three national insurers. He then transitioned into the claims services sector of the industry and served as vice president of industry training and education at PMSI MSA Services. He subsequently served as executive vice president at MEDVAL, a national Medicare secondary payer compliance company.

Mr. D'Alusio is presently principal of D’Alusio Insurance Services, a consulting company to the insurance industry. He has given claims cost containment presentations at many national conferences and seminars and has served on various advisory boards to workers compensation industry vendors. His articles have also appeared in many risk and insurance periodicals. He holds a bachelor of arts degree from St. John's University and a master of arts from Montclair State University.
