W. Scott Trethewey Receives Words of Wisdom Award at 30th IRMI Construction Risk Conference

ORLANDO—W. Scott Trethewey, Executive Vice President at Moss & Associates, LLC, was honored with the IRMI Words of Wisdom Award here during the 30th IRMI Construction Risk Conference. The Words of Wisdom, or “WOW,” Award recognizes a speaker who has made an outstanding contribution to the construction and insurance industries by unselfishly sharing his or her risk and insurance expertise with exceptional delivery skills at the annual Conference hosted by International Risk Management Institute, Inc. (IRMI).

The award was presented to Mr. Trethewey before an audience of 1,000. IRMI President Jack Gibson explained why Mr. Trethewey was chosen to receive the prestigious award. “Scott has a down-to-earth presentation style to which our audiences can really relate, and he shares practical in-the-trenches knowledge with them. As a result, he has either been the highest-rated speaker or in the top three at each of the past five IRMI Conferences. Considering that these Conferences featured over 60 speakers, this is an impressive track record, and he certainly deserved the award,” Mr. Gibson said.

Mr. Trethewey is the twenty-first winner of the WOW Award. Previous recipients are listed in the IRMI website.
