DALLAS—International Risk Management
Institute, Inc. (IRMI), has confirmed a new location and new dates for the
30th IRMI Construction Risk
Conference, to be held November 14-18, 2010, at The Peabody Orlando
hotel in Orlando, Florida. These changes are due to the recent flooding in
Nashville, Tennessee, and the temporary closing for repairs of the original
venue.
Registration is now open for the IRMI Construction Risk Conference, the
only national symposium devoted exclusively to construction insurance, risk
management, loss control, and bonding. The 3½-day program is attended each
year by risk management and financial officers of construction companies and
large project owners, as well as the insurance and surety agents, brokers,
advisers, attorneys, and underwriters who serve them.
“We recognize that times are still tough,” said IRMI president Jack
Gibson, CRIS, “and have responded by rolling back the clock on the
registration fee all the way to 2007 and offering unprecedented discounts—as
high as 50 percent—to risk managers and certain other members of the
industry. And, of course, we back up the quality of the learning and
networking with our unique money back, no questions asked guarantee.”
“Business cases” that can be used to obtain management approval for your
attendance are available for download at
