IRMI Launches Risk & Insurance Webinar Program

DALLAS—International Risk Management
Institute, Inc. (IRMI) is pleased to announce a series of
continuing education webinars for
risk management and insurance professionals, beginning May 28, 2009.
This high quality educational programming will be presented using the
best, state-of-the-art webinar technology available. IRMI plans to present
six webinars for each of three separate series on a variety of topics,
including the following: Construction Risk Management, Green Construction,
and Technology Risk. IRMI will also offer a series of webinars focused on
many of the risk management and insurance topics covered in the
IRMI Reference Library.
The first IRMI webinar,
Additional Insured Endorsements: The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly, will
be held May 28 at 1:00 p.m. Eastern. Presenters
Jack P. Gibson
and W. Jeffrey
Woodward will cover nonstandard additional insured endorsements. The
second webinar will be from the series,
Tips and Tactics: Managing Construction Contract Risks—Jerry Katz will
present
Pre-Contractual Risks on June 4 at 1:00 p.m. Eastern time.
Robin K. Olson
will present
Personal Lines Insurance Coverage Gaps: Analysis and Resolution on June
17 at 1:00 p.m. Eastern time.
IRMI president Jack P. Gibson said, “The high costs of travel and time
away from the office is causing more and more insurance and risk
professionals to look for more economical continuing education alternatives.
Our goal will be to provide unique, practical, and extremely high quality
learning events at a very reasonable cost with the IRMI webinar program.”
Each IRMI webinar will last approximately one hour, which will include
opportunities for participants to ask questions of the presenters. The
introductory price is $39. Registrants may also invite colleagues to
