LAS VEGAS—Frank
Keres, President, Construction Risk Associates, Inc., was honored with
the IRMI Words of Wisdom Award
here during the 28th IRMI
Construction Risk Conference. The Words of Wisdom, or “WOW,” Award
recognizes a speaker who has made an outstanding contribution to the
construction and insurance industries by unselfishly sharing his or her risk
and insurance expertise with exceptional delivery skills at the annual
Conference hosted by International Risk Management Institute, Inc., (IRMI).
The award was presented to Mr. Keres before an audience of almost 1,500.
IRMI President Jack Gibson explained why
Mr. Keres was chosen to receive the prestigious award. “Frank has a
down-to-earth presentation style to which our audiences can really relate,
and he shares practical in-the-trenches knowledge with them. As a result, he
has either been the highest rated speaker or in the top three at each of the
five Conferences where he has presented. Considering that these Conferences
featured over 60 speakers, this is an impressive track record, and he
certainly deserved the award,” Mr. Gibson said. Mr. Keres is the nineteenth
winner of the WOW Award. Previous
recipients include Mark Spansel, Adams & Reese; John Alberici, Alberici
Group; Tim Carter, CB Richard Ellis; Jim Costner, Willis; Steve Davis,
McGriff Seibels & Williams; Diana Eichfeld, ACE USA; Bill Ernstrom, The
