Management Team
International Risk Management Institute's management team includes William
S. McIntyre, owner and chairman of the board; Jack P. Gibson, president; Paul
D. Murray, vice president of marketing/sales; Cathy J. Roberts, vice president
of finance and administration; and Mike Wojcik, vice president of information
technology.
William S. McIntyre
Bill McIntyre, owner and chairman of the board, has been involved in commercial
insurance and risk management for over 40 years and holds the CPCU and ARM professional
designations. He is chairman of American Contractors Insurance Group and a shareholder
in American Risk Transfer Insurance Company, Ltd., a Bermuda-based captive reinsurance
company. Mr. McIntyre is the founder of IRMI and originator of many of IRMI's
research ideas and services.
Jack P. Gibson
Jack Gibson, president, joined IRMI in 1982 following his employment as a
consultant with a leading national risk management firm. Mr. Gibson holds the
CPCU, CLU, and ARM professional designations, and the Construction Risk and
Insurance Specialist (CRIS) designation. He received his bachelor's degree and
master of business administration degree from the University of Georgia. Mr.
Gibson is a member of IRMI's board of directors and manages the research and
development of IRMI's publications and seminars. In addition, Mr. Gibson chairs
the executive committee, which is responsible for the overall management of
the firm.
Paul D. Murray
Paul Murray, vice president of marketing and sales, is a graduate of the
University of Texas and joined IRMI in 1982. Before coming to IRMI, he was director
of personnel and employee benefits with a member hospital for Hospital Corporation
of America, Inc. Mr. Murray is a member of IRMI's board of directors and supervises
the marketing and sales activities of the firm. As a member of the executive
committee, he is also actively involved in the overall management of IRMI.
Cathy J. Roberts
Cathy Roberts, vice president of finance and administration, has been with
the firm since it was founded. Before joining IRMI, she was employed with an
international risk management consulting firm. Ms. Roberts is a member of IRMI's
board of directors and executive committee. She is directly responsible for
accounting, finance, personnel, seminar coordination, and office management.
Mike Wojcik
Mike Wojcik, vice president of information technology, brought 15 years of
information systems experience to IRMI when he joined the firm in 1999. Before
coming to IRMI, he was vice president of management information systems with
a multi-line insurer. In previous assignments, he led the information and technology
organizations for two companies specializing in automated billing and collections
of health insurance claims. Prior to that, Mr. Wojcik was a systems consultant
and project manager for a premier systems consulting firm. He graduated
summa cum laude with a bachelor's degree
in electrical engineering from Mississippi State University. Mr. Wojcik is a
member of the executive committee and is responsible for managing IRMI's information
systems.
