Current Openings
Research Analyst
IRMI is adding a research analyst position to
our editorial team. The successful candidate will have 3 to 7 years of
experience recommending or implementing risk management tactics in a risk
management department or with an agency, brokerage, insurer, or consulting
firm. He or she will hold, at minimum, a bachelor’s degree, will be working
toward or will have earned an industry designation, and will possess
excellent writing skills.
This research analyst will work on our reference services that focus on
risk management and
risk finance. Some
projects will also involve insurance coverage analysis. The key activities
will be:
- Researching information about risk management practices,
contractual risk transfer techniques, risk finance plans,
the alternative market, and insurance coverage issues; and
- Preparing written material that provides explanations,
conclusions, and recommendations based on this research.
This material will then be peer reviewed and edited by a
senior research analyst and incorporated into our reference
library.
This position is in our home office in Dallas, with a limited amount of
travel to attend industry conferences and seminars. Reasonable relocation
expenses will be reimbursed if the successful candidate does not live in the
area.

Full Time Sales Position with IRMI
IRMI is currently seeking a professional sales person with a successful
track record in sales. You will be selling a software product by phone and
giving online demonstrations designed to help insurance agents close more
prospective high end personal lines accounts and enhance risk management
services to their existing high end accounts. We are searching for an
enthusiastic self-starter with the drive and determination to succeed.
Insurance experience a plus but not a requirement.
