Jeff Woodward is the principal research analyst for Commercial Liability Insurance and serves as co-editor and coauthor of Contractual Risk Transfer. He is also the author of the IRMI CGL and Umbrella Insurance Guide and contributes articles to The Risk Report.

Mr. Woodward contributes articles on liability risk and insurance to the Expert Commentary section of IRMI.com.

Mr. Woodward holds an MA degree in English from the University of Pennsylvania, is a Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), and serves on the CPCU Exam Review Committee.

Before joining IRMI in 1987, Mr. Woodward was a technical writer and editor with two other leading publishers of risk management and insurance reference services.
