Kathleen
A. Creedon, CIC, CRM, a 30-year industry veteran, has focused on construction-related
insurance since 1987. She started an independent consulting firm, Wrap Strategies,
in 2001. Ms. Creedon previously worked at Aon Risk Services, managing more than
30 wrap-up projects of varying size, scope, and complexity—including an OCIP
for a $450 million project from an on-site construction trailer, gaining valuable
insight into the construction process and the many personalities involved with
a large-scale project.
Tracy
Saxe is a founding partner of Saxe Doernberger & Vita, P.C. With extensive
experience in complex commercial litigation, specializing in insurance coverage
issues on behalf of policyholders, he is well versed in issues of late notice,
allocation, subrogation, contribution, indemnification, and the duty to defend.
He is a frequent national lecturer on insurance coverage topics. Turner Construction
Company named Mr. Saxe “Lawyer of the Year” for 2005.
Christopher
T. Smith is the Corporate Insurance Manager and National CCIP Director
for Turner Construction Company. He has worked in insurance for 16 years with
12 of those years focused exclusively on underwriting and managing the risks
of construction and wrap-up accounts. As Turner’s National CCIP Director, he
has seen the rolling CCIP program grow to be one of the largest in the country.
He is also responsible for business unit support in reviewing all owner controlled
insurance programs in which Turner participates and assists in facilitating
project-specific placements.
Guest Speaker
Scott Jensen is a Vice President in the AmWINS
of Alabama office, specializing in tough to place construction risk accounts.
Scott also serves in the Construction Practice Division for AmWINS. Scott handles
a variety of construction related accounts, including residential, commercial,
environmental and controlled insurance programs. Scott has over 10 controlled
insurance programs in progress today, and over $1 billion in construction cost.
