Associate in Insurance Accounting and Finance (AIAF)

Professional designation awarded by the Insurance Institute of America (IIA) upon successful completion of four national exams, three of which are designed specifically for this program and one of which is a CPCU course. The program offers an opportunity to master statutory accounting principles, reporting procedures, and financial management concepts; it presumes prior exposure to general accounting principles and a working knowledge of insurance principles and coverages.
