Ken Wollner wrote about drafting and interpreting insurance contracts for IRMI.com.

Beginning in 1969 as an underwriter, Mr. Wollner was a vice president in charge of casualty for a major surplus-lines company. In 1980 he became a principal for a major consulting firm, where he eventually led the directors and officers liability practice and provided contract management services for an insurance company subsidiary of the American Hospital Association. He then served as managing director of Casualty Risk Consultants, a consultancy specializing in property and casualty insurance and self-insurance.

Mr. Wollner was a member of the Massachusetts, Michigan, and New Mexico bar associations. He has authored numerous publications, including the award-winning book How to Draft and Interpret Insurance Policies, which is still available through IRMI.com.
