As CEO Asia of XL Winterthur International, Mr. Kristensen manages the business
in Asia. Born in Norway, he entered the insurance industry in 1989 as a trainee
at Cologne Reinsurance Company in Cologne, Germany. After 7 years with Cologne
Reinsurance (General Re) in Europe and Asia, Mr. Kristensen joined Winterthur
Swiss Insurance in 1996 to establish and manage Winterthur's operation as the
first licensed insurance company in China. He returned from China in 2000 to
take up the position as CEO Asia in Hong Kong.
Mr. Kristensen holds a master's of business degree from the University of
Mannheim, Germany.
