George Keller, deceased

George Keller contributed articles on global insurance markets to IRMI.com.

As president and CEO of Winterthur International America Insurance Company and Winterthur International America Underwriters Insurance Company, Mr. Keller managed the Business Unit Overseas and was responsible for the United States, Canada, Mexico, Argentina, Brazil, Australia, Japan, Singapore, and China. He also headed the Operating Committee of Travelers/Winterthur International.

Mr. Keller had over 25 years' experience in property/casualty lines, having held management positions in standard lines, excess and surplus lines, large accounts, reinsurance, and international units of several insurers and reinsurers.

Mr. Keller earned a degree from Florida State University in risk and insurance, was a Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter, and held the Senior Claims Law Associate designation.
