As an Executive Vice President of Alliant Insurance Services Healthcare divisions
in Chicago and New York, Ms. Boone focuses on Medical Professional liability
for Long Term Care, Managed Care Organizations, Hospitals/Integrated Delivery
Systems and Physicians and University Medical Centers. She has 26 years in the
medical malpractice insurance industry, on the broker and underwriting side
of the business. Her expertise focuses on program design and structure, manuscript
policy wording, rate and premium analysis, for the above areas mentioned.
Her previous experience includes a national position for 9 years, with the
third largest insurance broker in the world. Her focus as a national resource
was working with 280 retail offices on a global basis to solicit/produce, market,
and set strategy for the Healthcare Industry. She chaired product line/industry
segments for Long-Term Care, Managed Care, HPL and Miscellaneous healthcare.
Ms. Boone is an accomplished author and lecturer, speaking on many healthcare
topics at industry meetings such as the 2003 Risk & Insurance Management Society,
(RIMS), the Association of Healthcare Risk Management Managers, (Seattle 2002),
and the Institute for International Research, (HR). She is a licensed New York
State Insurance broker and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications
from Xavier University and is currently working on her MBA.
