Mark E. Reagan

Mr. Reagan is a panelist for Monday's Preconference Workshop 6, "What’s Hot in Construction Risk Management?" He serves as chairman and chief executive officer of Willis Global Construction Practice, located in Florham Park, New Jersey. In 1993 he joined Willis from American International Group, where he was most recently president of the Bond Division and head of International Financial Lines.

He began his insurance career with Seaboard Surety Company in 1971 as a senior underwriter in New York. Four years later, he was named manager of its UK/European operations in London. In 1980 he returned to New York as vice president of Seaboard's Contract and Surety Operations and later was appointed a director for the company. In 1984 he was named senior vice president with responsibilities for surety, claims, and management information services.

Mr. Reagan joined AIG in 1988 as president of its Bond Division with worldwide responsibility for surety and fidelity bonds. A year later, he was appointed senior executive for the financial lines of American International Underwriters.

Since April Mr. Reagan has been directing Willis's global surety bond and construction insurance operations. He is widely recognized as one of the leading construction insurance and surety executives in the nation. His leadership and discipline gained from more than 30 years of service has been a tremendous benefit to Willis's clients.
