Richard J. Shamis

Mr. Shamis is a 30-year industry veteran focusing on construction insurance. In his current role, he is responsible for coordinating the delivery of construction risk management products and services to Aon's clients and prospects in the central region. Mr. Shamis is the Team Leader of several large construction accounts, where he provides leadership, oversight, and troubleshooting skills, program design and insurance/reinsurance marketing talents for current clients. He previously served in various positions at Willis. Mr. Shamis has taught many casualty coverage courses, has made presentations to state organizations such as the AGC and CFMA, and has been a frequent IRMI Construction Risk Conference speaker.
